Policy-Based Mobile Application Control (DEAL 689)

This portfolio is generally related to a device management application (DMA) installed on a mobile device that enforces device policies, specified by an enterprise, and the device management application cannot be deleted or modified by a user of the mobile device for controlling functionalities of the mobile device based on an operative device policy state of the device. The device management application monitors when the software applications are opened and controls the functionality of the user device by selectively disabling the software applications installed on the user device depending on how often the software applications installed on the user device are opened. The technology may be implemented in mobile devices, mobile apps, mobile device application control systems, IoT devices, etc.
